Mark Dearden is Marcos. Mark’s sound is fresh and energetic. His style ranges from blistering hard trance to full on epic trance anthems. Operating under a number of alias’s Mark is a diverse producer who manages to effortlessly switch from one style to the next. Having written and remixed a staggering number of tracks, he has forged himself an excellent reputation as a quality producer, remixer and DJ and has established himself as one of the UK’s best known Trance producers.

As a DJ, Mark has performed world wide at all of the biggest events including GodsKitchen, Gatecrasher, Passion, Dance Valley, Slinky, Inside Out, GoodGreef, Promise, The Gallery, Slide and many more.
In 2005, Mark performed all over the world, including Indonesia, Egypt, Canada, Ibiza, Turkey, Holland and Germany, not forgetting regular UK bookings; these performances are an indication of how popular his music has become. In terms of production, ‘Cosmicstring’ can be considered as one of the most successful trance tracks of the last few years, being licensed to numerous compilations around the globe. Originally signed to Blue Print Audio in the UK, it was quickly picked up and signed to then world no.1 DJ Paul Van Dyk’s Vandit Records, and was PVD’s track of the year 2005.

In 2006, “Ad Infinitum” was signed to Armin Van Buuren’s A State Of Trance label, and Mark has also remixed several Apogee tracks for the same imprint. The follow up to “Cosmicstring”, “Summer Solstice”, was also signed to Vandit and his work has appeared on Drizzly, Druck, Captivating Sounds, Instant Music, Nu Life, 90 Degrees North, Bulletproof and too many more to list!

2007 marked a significant new chapter in his career as he launched his first record label, Kerf Music, with the track “Time To Believe”. The track has been a hit with the major DJ’s across the world, with numerous compilation licenses before the official release date. Mark also remixed Blitz’s “Tantra” to great acclaim, with the track being played on John Askew’s Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 and appearing on several compilations around the globe.
