It is one of the biggest – if not THE biggest – releases in EDM of 2013. On May 3rd, the world’s number one DJ, Armin van Buuren lands his new artist album. Titled ‘Intense’, the album is now  available for pre-order on iTunes and Its first official single, ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ ft. Trevor Guthrie, has been released today.  Along with its release, the Dutch DJ also announced a brand new world tour, bringing the album to life with the ‘Armin Only: Intense’ shows. On November 15th, the tour will hit Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.

Armin Only: Intense will take place in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. With a capacity of only 12.000 visitors, Armin chose a spacious, but intimate setting. It is the first of many more dates of the world tour announced. With the brand new Armin Only tour, Armin van Buuren brings a unique and exclusive show, unfolding the many layers of his ‘Intense’ album. Fans who don’t want to miss out on a ticket can subscribe to, notifying them as soon as the pre-sale starts.

The Dutchman, who’s got a busy summer schedule with his upcoming residency in Ibiza’s Privilege, just announced the official tracklist of his fifth artist album. On ‘Intense’, Armin incorporates influences of rock, classic, progressive, pop and of course trance music. During its 3 years in the making, Armin collaborated with artists such as Israeli Grammy Award winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari, Australian duo NERVO and singers by the likes of Trevor Guthrie, Emma Hewitt, Laura Jansen, Fiora and many more. A pre-taste of what ‘Intense’ will bring, the first single ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ clearly shows that the Dutch producer stepped out of his comfort zone – and created a sound more diverse than any of his previous albums. With stunning live performances at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival and A State of Trance 600 New York at Madison Square Garden, Armin van Buuren and Trevor Guthrie had the entire electronic dance music industry pointing heads to ‘This Is What It Feels Like’.
