Cloud 9 Music has started the new publishing company ‘Tous Ensemble Publishing’ (TEP) together with CNR Records Belgium and Regi Penxten (pka Regi). The company will represent amongst others Regi’s copyrights worldwide. Regi is known as a producer, writer and one of Belgium’s hottest exports under past aliases Sylver and Milk Inc. Wim Coryn (managing director TEP), formerly working for a.o. BMG Publishing, will be working alongside Regi.

Next to the Regi’s copyrights, Felix de Laet, better known as Lost Frequencies, is the first to have signed an exclusive deal with Tous Ensemble. The Belgium-based publisher will also represent the entire publishing catalogue of CNR Records Belgium which includes copyrights of affiliated artists like De Romeo’s, singer-songwriter Ian Thomas, and others. The company will furthermore represent the copyrights of Cloud 9 Music in Belgium & Luxemburg, which include the catalogues of Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand and Nervo.

Raymond van Vliet (President and co-owner Cloud 9): “In recent years all major-publishers have closed their doors in Belgium. Belgium has a proud history and is a lucrative market in its own right, which needs to be operated by Belgians. With Wim Coryn we have someone with upwards of 20 years’ experience and a huge network in Belgium’s film, advertising and music industry. The same goes for CNR Records and Regi. We believe that together we can be a strong player in Belgium.”

Tom de Meijer (Managing Director CNR Records Belgium): “In Cloud 9 Music we’ve found an authentic music publisher with years of experience, solid administration and a worldwide network of tried and tested sub-publishers. Regi and CNR have been working together successfully for over a decade. It’s a great opportunity to take on this adventure together with Regi and Cloud 9.”

Christophe Depreter (Managing Director SABAM): “Of course SABAM is delighted there will be a new publisher with great Belgian repertoire. We wish ‘Tous Ensemble Publishing’ the best, all over the world.”

Regi Penxten (Artist & Publisher TEP): “Ever since I became an artist, a writer and a producer, I have proactively been managing my intellectual rights in the music business. It’s a very important part in an artist’s career, and there should be people around that can advise them accordingly. Unfortunately, for many young artists this is not the case. This is why I’m very enthusiastic, next to my own music projects, to focus on ‘Tous Ensemble Publishing’. As both an artist and a music publisher, I want to make a difference for artists signed to TEP, and build a strong path together with them. Uniting people, together in music… in other words ‘Tous Ensemble Publishing’.”
