Remarked as one of dance music’s most prominent voices, Rochelle is kicking off the New Year with a brand-new solo single named “All Night Long.” To be released on her label Young Elephants, this numinous track showcases Rochelle’s striking voice, yet preserves an uplifting atmosphere.
All Night Long is accompanied by an artistic music video which was shot in Surinam, the home-country of Rochelle’s father. The video reflects on the honest and colorful roots of the exotic culture in the country, which perfectly suits the idea of the cult video Rochelle had in mind for this release.
The video is directed by eminent fashion photographer Ruud Baan, who has worked with the likes of M.I.A and ASAP Rocky and is styled by the raw and eccentric fashion stylist Kim Keizer.
At the ripe age of just 18, Dutch songster Rochelle Perts claimed the winning position for the 2011 edition of X-Factor and since then, she’s taken the scene by storm with her illustrious voice and mysterious persona. Now, at 23, Rochelle has already achieved several musical milestones such as her hit collaboration “Shotgun,” with Yellow Claw, which gained over 71 million views on YouTube, the highly acclaimed “Return Of The Mack” with Lady Bee, which was remixed by future-house hero Oliver Heldens and the summer anthem “Fools Paradise” with Dirtcaps.
Apart from her musical endeavors, Rochelle is also heavily involved in the Dutch fashion scene; her arty and original style has become iconic and has led her to work closely alongside some of the most promising designers.
