London based music producers/writers and brothers Obi and Uche Ebele, professionally known as Da Beat Freakz, have signed an exclusive publishing and venture agreement with Cloud 9 Music. The brothers were recently invited by Sean Paul to work on new songs for his upcoming album in Jamaica. Recent cuts include the likes of Usher, Sophia Grace, Kat Deluna, M Pokora, Jeremih and Chris Brown amongst others, as well as the official theme song for the 2016 animation movie ‘Storks’.
Sean Paul speaks highly about Da Beat Freakz in a recent interview with LA based radio station HOT97, after he invited them to work together on new songs in Jamaica. The brothers both star in the new French reality series Les Anges 9, which is broadcasted on NRJ. Da Beat Freakz flew in to Miami in February to work on new material with the contestants of the show. Their first release, Luna ft. Lyaz – Run This Town, went straight to the number #1 spot on iTunes in France.
Teenage superstar Sophia Grace recorded their song ‘Best Friends’ which has over 70 million streams on YouTube. Her recently recorded song HOLLYWOOD has over 8 million streams now on YouTube and is also co-written by Da Beat Freakz. Last year, they received a double platinum award for their production Mieux Que Nous for the French artist M Pokora ft. Soprano. The single has over 25 million streams.
