Falco van den Aker and Bob van Ratingen, popularly known as deep house duo Deepend, have formally extended their successful collaboration with Cloud 9 Music. Having launched their international career with the massive and ongoing success of the hit remix of Matt Simons’ ‘Catch & Release’, the Dutch DJ’s and producers have now extended their publishing deal with Cloud 9 music.
Deepend quickly followed up their initial hit with several high-profile remixes including Robin Schulz, AKON and James Blunt, and a successful collaboration with fellow Dutch house star Sam Feldt. Their solo productions are as much a part of their success story: 2016’s ‘I’m Intoxicated’ has over 3.5 million plays on YouTube and continues to be a Spotify favorite.
The duo has been working hard on new releases – there will be at least 5 new tracks over this summer alone. Last week saw the release of two new Deepend releases on Island Records: a remix of JP Cooper’s ‘Passport Home’, and a collaboration with Chord Overstreet: ‘Hold On’. Their upcoming release ‘Every Little Thing’ is scheduled on Spinnin’ Records on May 26th and was premiered on BBC Radio 1 recently by Danny Howard.
Falco and Bob are excited about the success of their new releases and look forward to a packed summer schedule. Deepend: “Since day one, our collaboration with Cloud 9 proved to be very successful on both personal and professional level. We’re very excited to extend this collaboration and we can’t wait to share all the new music we’ve been working on!”
