Damon Sharpe


Damon Sharpe is an American Grammy and ASCAP award-winning record producer, songwriter and artist who works in Los Angeles. He has contributed many recognizable songs to popular culture and has been involved with the production of various popular albums that cumulatively have sold over 40 million copies.

He has worked the likes of Jennifer Lopez, (The ASCAP award winning #1 worldwide smash “Love Don’t Cost A Thing”), Ariana Grande, Pitbull, Alesso, Kelly Rowland, Kylie Minogue, Big Time Rush, NKOTB, Nelly, Monica, Boyz II Men, Anastacia, New Boyz feat. Damon was an on camera vocal coach on season 2 of The Xfactor USA, and assisted with preliminary judging for season 3 and also was a series regular judge on the YTV Canadian television series The Next Star: SuperGroup where he also was a part of the casting process, song selection and music production. Recently he was a consultant for Fox’s new reality singing competition show The Four. He has also been a panel guest on Larry King Live.

After being signed as an artist himself to 6 major label deals Damon has discovered and developed artists and writers that have been signed to Universal, Warner Brothers and Island Def Jam records.
