Marvin “Tjamma” Lie Atjam, better known as Capstar, the guy that never leaves a party without digits, is an upcoming house producer from Amsterdam , The Netherlands. Producing quality groovy house tracks, with catchy vocals on it.

With his multicultural roots, his mother from Surinam and his father from The Netherlands, he grew up with all kinds of music. While his father loved to listen to George Benson, Lee Ritenour and George Michael, his mother enjoyed playing tracks from the The Bee Gees, Stylistics and Rose Royce and so on. When he was about 6 years old, he was only listening to Michael Jackson, than his biggest idol, but not knowing music was gonna be his first love.

1996 was the year he started working with a music program he just bought for fun. That’s when he got addicted to music and since than he knew he wanted to produce music. Many years later he went along with his cousin, who had to deejay at a club and there he played a bootleg of a track they made just the other day. The reactions were very positive, so that’s when he knew he wanted to make his own productions, that would be played in the clubs.

In 2006 his first release “Do It Easy” will be released in januari on Fame Recordings and his DJ career will be expanded. So get ready for the next best thing, because Capstar is coming…
