DJ Eco
Having begun producing at the young age of 15, Marcello Pacheco, aka DJ Eco, of New York has slowly but surely been building up his name. With his tunes within the past two years, Eco has gotten the continued support of everyone from the world’s number 1 DJ, Armin Van Buuren, to Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, among many others.
With his tune “Tonight Is Forever” featured on the ArminOnly 2008 DVD (Imagine) by Armin Van Buuren, and loads of remixes within the past year, his music and unique style is rising to the top. Never conforming to one single genre, neither in his livesets nor productions, the variety in his upcoming releases showcase his ability to produce wide ranges of styles in electronic music.
Aside from producing, he has also played at such legendary venues as Spirit, Avalon, Webster Hall, Shelter, Sullivan Room and Love in New York City, not only headlining but having played along with a who’s who of trance from Rank1, Menno De Jong, Eddie Halliwell, to Hybrid, M.I.K.E., Marcus Schossow, Martin Roth, John O’Callaghan, and more. Outside of New York, he has played at Club Fur in DC, Fabric in the Czech Republic, Italian club Cocorico’, among others. As part of the new school of young rebelling producers, DJ Eco is putting New York trance on the map with his abstract and anthemic sound.
