Jordin Post, also known as Juventa. According to Armin van Buuren he’ll be on the worlds top of trance producers before he reaches the legal drinking age in his country. This young producer from The Netherlands (4th of October 1994, Groningen) has been active since late 2009 and made the step from small labels to the bigger players before the end of 2010. He already managed to create himself a good fundemental discography with releases findable on labels like Infrasonic, Anjunabeats, and now also Enhanced, kicking off on this label with his debute EP “For That Special Girl / Just An Emotion”.
 
Unknown to most of the people until is hit remix of André Glensks “Polish Pierogi”, Jordin is now fastly becoming a resident, and supports of his tracks from A-list DJs can be expected for every single release. Early 2010 he also had the honour to get his remix of the legendary “Larry Mountains 54″ be compiled on Anjunabeats Volume 8, which gave his name a huge boost. His EP on Enhanced is moving on with the waves it caused and will be followed by more very promising originals and remixes.
 
His trademark sound must be the combination of an uplifting Trance base with various progressive elements through it. “It’s just great when you post some samples on the internet, and people are like “hey, I recognise this. Sounds like Juventa!”. Jordin’s main objective is to provide his listeners with quality and emotional music. The genre doesn’t matter, since Trance isn’t the only style this guy is producing.
“Sometimes I just feel like I have to make something completely different. The result can be a track like “Ruby” or “Attained Dreams”, two Lounge-styled tracks that were featured on a compilation called “Lounge Top 100″, which was compiled by Cloud9 Music (Who are also my publisher by the way). I also do Breaks sometimes, and if I’m in the mood some firm Progressive can be the final product too. You’ll hear an example of that on Enhanced Progressive soon enough!”
 
Being busy producing for such a long time, Jordin has recently started to build on a DJ career too. “Being such a rapidly growing producer gives you a huge advantage for bookings. I’ve barely touched any CDJs yet and I’m already assured of a gig next summer and a place on shortlists for several other big events. Thanks to my producing experience I reckon it’s also a lot easier to learn to DJ. I know my music, the sense for rhythm is there and I have the (sometimes annoying) ability to listen to music in a plain technical way.

Holland based Jørgensen got bitten by the Dance bug in the early 90’s and started organizing club nights in The Netherlands. From then on it was just a small step to get behind the decks where he quickly became a highly respected DJ, spinning parties out of control with his groundbreaking sets.

In the studio, Jørgensen is equally as passionate. Summer 2007 saw the release of his electro stormer ‘Untitled’, which caused a stir on the global club scene, with reactions nothing short of outstanding. Including a Deadmau5 remix! The result – an excellent release for Toolroom, with Jørgensen showing how phat, stompy house music should be done.

For 2009, Jørgensen has definitely raised the bar high. With his own label ADAPT RECORDINGS, he wants to take a new approach to electronic dance music as a DJ and producer. Jørgensen commented about ADAPT RECORDINGS: “I wanted to create a label that went right back to the beginning of the house era where music wasn’t pigeon-holed and DJs were eclectic. I myself produce a mixture of deep house, vocal, techno and progressive, and I felt a label that collated these different sounds into one was needed. And so Adapt Recordings was born!”

The future looks to be an exciting global adventure for Jørgensen!

In the Summertime Dutch DJ’s tour along the European beaches. JoeySuki is no exception to this. He has just returned this week from the FAME=DUTCH tour in Bulgaria together with Lucien Foort, Tony Cha Cha, Nicky Romero and Quintino. The management has sentenced Joey to solitary confinement for an entire week. Being on the road all the time isn’t the most ideal situation to be productive in. There is still a big pile of work left to finish. Towards the end of this year they have planned some commercial releases which demand the right attention at this point in time. Some hot tracks are to be expected.  This month JoeySuki will attend the decks at Beachclub Miljonairs for ‘Ministry of Beats’ a concept by Radio Decibel.
