A prize-winning law graduate, Tim Dawn was well on his way to a PhD and the big bucks. And then… he fell for music. Backpacking through Australia and New Zealand, armed with a handful of songs and a guitar, he felt freer than ever. Back home he quit his job and moved to a petting zoo slash monumental lumber mill property in the heart of Utrecht, the Netherlands, where he works on his music and takes care of the animals.

His surroundings are reflected in his artisanal yet modern indie pop songs, which echo both the peace and quiet of his life amongst the pigs and sheep, and the restlessness of the city. His sincere music and voice are reminiscent of artists like James Bay, Hozier and Coldplay.

After his debut EP “Up” and a number of notable live shows, including supports for The Paper Kites and Harry Styles, Tim got his big break in late 2018, when his single Walking On A Wire received major airplay on national radio, and was elected TopSong on Radio 2.

In the end, he never became a lawyer. But he surely did himself justice.
