Renee Rose is a Dutch singer-songwriter that started her journey as a writer when she got a keyboard for her 10th birthday. From that moment, writing and singing was her way to release tension and creativity. ‘It sounds a bit like a cliché, but writing is like breathing for me. Writing a song feels like capturing stories and emotions in the purest form. When I don’t do it for too long, I feel lost in the story of my life.’
At the age of 15 she got to the semi-finals of the talent show ‘Idols’ and four years later she managed to get four chairs turned in ‘The Voice of Holland’. In this way she proofed her skills as a singer, but also as a writer she’s been very ambitious. She’s been working with several producers since the age of 15 and played in a band. When she started to work with songwriter and producer Luc Weegels, the seeds of a lot of projects and opportunities were planted. After writing a song for Roxeanne Hazes, Renee signed a publishing deal at Cloud 9 Music under Music Mates Publishing.
In 2021 she released two EDM songs in collaboration with German producer Sven Blaikz. In the beginning of 2022, she will release her first solo single ‘Waiting For Your Love’ which shows more of her love for alternative pop. Renee is very excited to capture more stories in the future by writing for other artists and releasing more music.
