StreetBeatz

Bright Kwame Appiah better known as Streetbeatz is an award winning producer and creative director from Ghana. He was born as the eldest in a family of five and from an early age he took
to music as a passion. In fact it was his grandmother who pushed him to learn to play the piano, while at the time he didn’t quite understand why she was so adamant about it. He is now reaping the benefits from learning to play chords at an early age.

It was not until he was 17 years old that he got to meet his first teacher David Kyei (Kaywa) of Highly Spiritual Entertainment. Where he, thanks to his computer technical skills, got introduced to making beats and producing songs. Streetbeatz then went on to produce hits for major Ghanian artists like Castro, Stonebwoy and Mugeez (from the duo group R2Bees). Streetbeatz however got his first major hit with Sarkodie feat Castro on the remix of ‘Adonai’. That track marked him as a household name in the Ghanian music industry. By 2015 he was nominated for Producer of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards and since then has been nominated a few more times.

Streetbeatz productions are known for bringing together Highlife, Afrobeats and Afro-pop. He has come to work with many other African and international artists since his beginning days, Fuse ODG, Darkovibes, and Admiral T to name a few. Streetbeatz has built up a reputable music catalog and name for himself in the music industry and is currently working on his first EP.
